Here’s another option for you if you’ve got a hankering for sweets (or if you’d like to give something to your sweeties) this Valentine’s Day — cookies!
Bake Buddy has been very busy with all the holidays like Christmas and Chinese New Year, so naturally, Valentine’s Day will not be an exception!

Bear Grub Ice Cream
Tada! As promised, photos from our ice cream shoot last Friday!
We were contacted a while back by Pau, who started an ice cream sandwich business in 2012 called Kapow Sandwich Factory. She recently decided to expand with another brand, Bear Grub Creamery, that “churns up artisan ice cream in small batches from all-natural ingredients that’ll make you GRR with pleasure and...

Ha Yuan Signatures grand opening
Last Monday, we had the lovely privilege to attend the grand opening of Ha Yuan Signatures at Madison Square Granada!
Ha Yuan Signatures takes off from their main branch, Ha Yuan - The Kitchen (along Mother Ignacia Street), presenting their signature dishes that have been well loved over three generations.
We joined in the blessing of the restaurant, applauded as the ribbons were...

Photos for Yummy!
Hello again! Like we said, we’d be posting a little while after that previous post.
Remember when we posted about our photos coming out in Yummy magazine back in May of last year? Well, we just bought the latest issue of Yummy (January/February 2012) with our photos for Knorr in them!
If you’ve all noticed the tiny type under the recent photos we’ve been posting here in our...
Happy New Year!
Happy new year, Tender loves! Did you enjoy your holidays? (:
We started the year out as busy as ever, working on different projects for different clients, but we have no complaints! We believe that it’s probably one of the best ways for us to start 2012 — that means we’ll constantly be working on projects the whole year round. Fantastic!
Right now, we’re working on projects...

Bake Buddy, at the Rockwell Tent!
It’s been a while, Tender followers! We’ve been kept busy by various projects, and here’s one of them!
Bake Buddy is a business run by Kiks’s younger sister Iyay (who also came up with Caratela Premium Sorbetes), assisted by our very own Tracy.
Bake Buddy primarily sells cookie mixes, making life a little easier for those who love homemade cookies. Just dump all...

Old Oven Art Café
We went on another dinner escapade last Friday and found this place called the Old Oven Art Café also along Katipunan Ext., in the St. Ignatius area.
In the evening, the front door seemed to be hidden in the shadows and I started thinking how we were to get up to the restaurant, but once we found it and pulled the door open, we were greeted by warm light and a pretty staircase.
The...

Food Camp - Tracy's first burger
Last Saturday, Kiks, some friends, and I went to have dinner at Food Camp. Food camp is a small burger joint located along Katipunan Extension, right beside (the first) Banapple.
We were able to talk to the owner, Binbong, and ask him about his restaurant. We found out that while this was his only branch at the time, he’s gotten customers who come to his little burger restaurant all the...

Zero-In exhibit opening!
The Zero-In exhibit opening was a blast! Here are some photos we took at the event!
We’d like to think that our piece was a success — we know we achieved our goal, since kids (and even some adults) flocked our tablet to try out the game! We hope everyone had fun! (:
More pictures on our Facebook page here!
Special thanks to everyone who helped us with this...

Crazy Katsu
Hallo, Tender loves! Kiks & I had dinner with our friend Teptep at this tiny new Japanese place called Crazy Katsu along Maginhawa, and I have to say that I adore the place. (:
Check out that weird albeit eccentric wooden wall decor! It really caught my attention and I just had to take a photo. Since, you know, it’s pretty weird but kind of cool.
I also love all the wooden tables...

Our photos are in Yummy magazine!
Hey Tender lovers! We have some exciting news for you all.
We are proud to say that our photos are in the latest (June 2011) issue of Yummy magazine! Grab a copy now and check it out!
A few weeks ago, we were asked to shoot some dishes with gata. The shoot itself was long required a lot of effort, but it was worth it! (:
Now grab those magazines, open the cover, and turn the page four...

Miren Desserts Café
As promised, our work for our latest client! We just received word that she got the shipment, and she’s very happy with them!
Wait, shipment? Shipment?? Why yes, we shipped her everything! That’s because Miren and her business are from Bacolod City, in Negros Occidental! We were pretty surprised to find this out when she first contacted us.
Anyway, Miren asked us to come up...

Caratela Premium Sorbetes
Ice cream can be pretty challenging to shoot, especially in a country as humid as ours! But when MilkWagon Inc. asked us to shoot for their ice cream Caratela, there was only one answer for us to give them: CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
Caratela ice cream is made from carabao’s milk, and comes in three flavors - Ube, Tablea, and Mango. Since the flavors and overall branding is very Filipino, it...
